Background In Counseling And Coaching
I started out doing personal and relationship counseling, took business and management courses, then integrated them into my practice. I have also studied and drawn from many sources of wisdom, including spiritual practices, both Western and Eastern. I have trained rigorously in specific methods and techniques that are fast, deep, and that get results.
Background In The Arts
The creative and entertainment industry component of my counseling and coaching stems from my background in the Arts. I began as a visual artist, attending the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan (the sister school to Performing Arts, portrayed in the feature film and television series "Fame. Fascinated by the whole creative process, I then wrote song lyrics (ten recorded), performed in a professional comedy improvisation group for two years, studied directing and wrote screenplays, one of which, CHANEL SOLITAIRE, was produced as a feature film. I was a member of Women In Film, where I co-chaired The Producer's Workshop for five years.
I am currently writing a book that conveys the fundamental spiritual, creative and practical principles for success I have used in my counseling and coaching.
